The Department of Business Administration (BBA) started with a sanctioned intake of 64 in the year, 2008 to cater to the long felt need for a Professional Course in Business Administration in this southern tip of the country which marches towards growth and stability. 

The department aims to enrich the knowledge of students in both theory and practice with a team of highly qualified faculty member with rich experience in the diverse streams of Business Administration 

The department plays a vital role in training the students through in-plant training and industrial visits to tackle the field associated problems arising in the industry. As a part of  the exchange of knowledge, the department is keen on inviting experts from reputed organizations to share their knowledge and experience with Business Administration students to motivate and enlighten them. Students are encouraged to participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities held in near by reputed institutions all over India and suitably rewarded by the management. 

The department actively involves in research activities and industrial consultancy works with various firms and industries in and around the city and also conducts various placement activities such as Mock interview, Refresher courses on subjects relevant to the industrial requirements.

Every academic year the Business Administration department organizes National level symposium, students from various colleges take part in various events of the symposium. A variety of activities like intra department competitions on paper presentation, technical quiz, poster design, mini project, etc., will be arranged every year as a part of academic activities.
