Fee Refund Policy
At Sri Ram Nallamani Yadava College of Arts and Science, the fee refund policy is designed in accordance with the guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Government of Tamil Nadu. This ensures transparency, fairness, and clarity for students and parents.
Eligibility for Fee Refund
- A student who wishes to withdraw admission must submit a written request for cancellation to the Principal, along with the original fee receipt.
- The date of receiving the written application will be considered for calculating the refundable amount.
Refund Guidelines
Time of Withdrawal
- Before the commencement of classes
- Within 15 days from commencement of classes
- Between 15 and 30 days from commencement of classes
- After 30 days from commencement of classes
Refund Guidelines
Refund Eligibility
- 100% refund of tuition fees (after deducting ₹1,000 processing charges)
- 80% refund of tuition fees
- 50% refund of tuition fees
- No refund
Non-Refundable Components
- Admission/Application fees
- Registration fees
- Any charges already paid towards university enrollment or examination fees
Mode of Refund
- All refunds will be made only through account transfer or crossed cheque in the name of the student or parent/guardian.
- Refunds will be processed within 30 working days from the date of approval.
Special Cases
- In case of admission through scholarships or fee concessions, the refund amount will be adjusted based on the terms of the scheme.
- If the college is unable to start the program for any reason, 100% of the fees (including registration) will be refunded.
