Internal Complaint Committee (ICC)
The Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) at Sri Ram Nallamani Yadava College of Arts and Science is constituted in accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the provisions of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. The ICC works to create a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all students, faculty, and staff.
Objectives of ICC
- To prevent and address cases of sexual harassment and gender-based discrimination.
- To provide a fair, transparent, and confidential redressal mechanism.
- To promote awareness and sensitivity about gender equity and respect on campus.
- To ensure compliance with statutory guidelines and safeguard the dignity of individuals.
Functions of the ICC
- Receive and address complaints of sexual harassment and related grievances.
- Conduct inquiries following due process while ensuring fairness and confidentiality.
- Recommend disciplinary and corrective measures where necessary.
- Organize awareness programs, workshops, and sensitization sessions for students and staff.
- Promote gender equality and inclusivity in all academic and non-academic spaces.
