College History & Profile
Sri Ram Nallamani Yadava College of Arts and Science is a pioneering and vibrant institution located at the foothills of the Podhigai range of the Western Ghats. Situated just a few kilometres from Tenkasi and the famous Courtallam waterfalls of southern Tamil Nadu, the college enjoys a serene and pollution-free environment ideal for learning.
Since its establishment in 1994, under the philanthropic management and visionary leadership of the late Sri N.N. Nallamani Konar, founder of the Sri Ram Nallamani Yadava Educational Society, the college has been committed to providing affordable, quality higher education to rural youth—not only from nearby villages but also from distant parts of Tamil Nadu.
Affiliated with Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli, the co-educational institution sprawls over 100 acres and offers modern facilities, including spacious classrooms, a well-stocked library, advanced laboratories, extensive sports grounds, counselling centres, auditoriums, canteens, and separate hostels for boys and girls. As an ISO 9001:2008 certified institution, it is consistently ranked among the top colleges under the aegis of MS University. Currently, it offers 15 undergraduate and 6 postgraduate programs across disciplines in Science, Commerce, Arts, Information Technology, and Business & Management.
